The location was close to the downtown, the staff are friendly.

The heat and AC are not adjustable, the hot tub didn't work.

The location is very convenient with all the bus surroundings

The surroundings are full of night clubs and not suitable for families with kids. When releasing the bath tub water. The toilet will be flooded with water till outside of the room

Not very clean, quite dusty. Staff didnt really understand/speak english. No shower curtain so floor was flooded

Not very clean , very dusty, didnt have enough power points. Staff didnt speak/understand much english. No laundry bag provided. No shower curtains so the bathroom floor leaked like crazy.

A nice big room with good facilities. And in a great location for all the main sites of the old part of Seoul. Everything was walkable - the Royal Palaces as well as the shopping and street food. And very easy from Seoul station

The bed was ridiculously hard. I don't think I've stayed in a hotel with a bed that hard before! So not a particularly comfortable night's sleep.

Pros and Cons

The location within the City is great! Lots of places were walkable from here. The staff was also very nice and helpful, especially since they can speak english. When we needed to call a taxi, they did it for us including telling the driver our destination in Korean. Great service!

We stayed in a suite in Building A, with two full size beds (we are a family of 5) the beds were really hard -- not very comfortable! The room was also very small, and not so clean. Definitely bring your own towels for the shower. We bought linen spray because the room had a faint smell of cigarettes as well. There are also no closets to put your clothes, we had to strategically place the suitcases to use them as storage for the clothes.

The location was right in the middle of Jongro. It was super convenient for the subway. The staff were very helpful and tried their best to find us a better room

The hotel seems a bit run down. In the pictures, it looks very plush and cool but in reality it was a but disappointing. The first room we got was dirty in places. I booked it a suite especially for a bath but it was just a tub in the middle of the room not connected to the water. The second room was somewhat better but I don't think it was worth the money.

* The staff did not speak English * The facilities weren't properly working and the room was not functional * The bath took too long to drain, even after a short shower. * There was no bath plug, so the bath was basically a shower (with no place for the handle) * The floor of the bath kept getting wet since there was no guard glass/curtain, so we needed constantly more towels * There was only one functioning electricity socket in the room, so we asked the staff for a divider * The t.v. had sound and visual problems * The room smelled like smoking, even though according to the website it was nonsmoking hotel/rooms * The room did not feel properly ventilated * The room was not properly lit * The light in the toilet kept randomly turning off * No place to hang towels * The mattress was not comfortable

Great location, hotel will be nice when construction is finished around the neighborhood.

Very convenient location. Near to Insadong, Gwanghamun and other popular tourist attractions.

There was construction next to the hotel when we stayed. The hotel is located next to a neighborhood with a lot of night tent bars.

In short, my stay provided Hrand Hyatt Room design vibes on a beer budget. if you aren’t too fussy about the stuff I men

The design was fabulous and loved the blackout sliding windows. It was exactly what I needed to rest and relax. The staff was excellent and very kind. I stayed in the room with a tree and tub near the bed. I loved the room I stayed in. The room was cared for daily—towels and toiletries were always refreshed. Fabulous location.

The bed was a little stiff for my taste and there weren’t many outlets in the room. Despite the lack of outlets, the staff provided me with an extension cord upon request. additionally there was no mirror in the room aside from in the small bathroom. The lighting in the bathroom wasn’t great so it made getting ready a challenge. I recommend adding a full length mirror somewhere outside the bathroom. Additionally, the prices advertised elsewhere were significantly less than booking.com, so that was a bit annoying. one last thing is that there were odd things like tape on the ceiling, dirt in random places on the walls, mold, etc. that I feel could be taken care of and look a lot nicer and be extra clean if for just a little bit more attention to detail.
